Aleka,
Grease contamination is partially minimized by filtering of grease
contamination. Fisher-Nickel (FSTC PG&E) is doing research of standardizing
of grease removal system. I have provided a link to the site....They have
done a lot of research on ckv along with ERV on exhaust.

Hope that helps some...

Subject: [bldg-sim] kitchen exhaust heat recovery
Does anyone know of an example of kitchen exhaust heat recovery or any
research on the topic? Im trying to find out if its possible considering
the grease contamination in the exhaust. We heard something about a heat
exchanger made from a duct within a duct for this purpose, but cant seem to
find any information on it.
Thanks,
aleka
