Geothermal/Mechanical Engineer
Affiliated Engineers, Inc., a national design consulting engineering
company, has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer with
geothermal design experience in our Madison, WI office. To learn more

AEI is looking for a mechanical engineer with experience in geothermal
design to be involved in the continued growth of our geothermal design
practice by leading design efforts in our Madison office. Candidates
will use their fundamental engineering skills to design geothermal and
other HVAC systems in a consulting environment. The engineer is
responsible for development of system concepts, life cycle analysis,
load calculations, equipment/material selection, layout, sizing, and
specification. In addition, you will meet with clients to learn user
needs, collaborate with architects, and train and mentor engineers and
designers. We are looking for individuals to help advance our practice
by developing industry recognition through client interface, seminar
presentations, and publications. Candidates must have the ability to
collaborate with, train, and lead team members. Some travel required.
Qualifications include BS in Mechanical Engineering and at least two
years experience with geothermal systems design or design/build. CDG and
professional registration or the ability to become registered desired.
Experience with energy modeling software such as DOE.2, TRNSYS,
EnergyPlus is a plus.
