This can be done with a few keystrokes in excel using a DATE( ), MOD ( ) and TIME ( ) functions, then sort and you're done.

Subject: [bldg-sim] Occupied and unoccupied hours weather data
Is there a way to extract occupied hours data (08:00 hrs-18:00 hrs) and unoccupied data (19:00hrs-07:00hrs.) from a TMY2 or energy plus weather file. Is it too time consuming to do it in excel?
I know of Binmaker pro, but that costs around $150.00.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Gaurav Mehta
