Scott,

 

I think the easiest (fastest) way to change the glass is to edit .inp file.
Form your email it appears that you used Glass-Type code method .For
example, you can just change the code = 2004 (air gap) to code = 2005 (argon
gap). Toy can see the Glass type description in  BDLLIB.dat.  You can employ
the same strategy if you used different method of glazing specification.

 

 

$ ---------------------------------------------------------

$              Glass Types

$ ---------------------------------------------------------

 

"Window Type #1 GT" = GLASS-TYPE      

   TYPE             = GLASS-TYPE-CODE

   GLASS-TYPE-CODE  = "2004"

   ..

"Window Type #2 GT" = GLASS-TYPE      

   TYPE             = GLASS-TYPE-CODE

   GLASS-TYPE-CODE  = "2005"

I modeled my entire building and did extra tweaks in the detailed edit mode.
I’ve just been informed that the contractor installed different glass than
what was specified, so they are going to keep it.

 

How do I change glass type from say ¼”double pane with air gap to ¼” double
pane with argon gap and not allow it to erase all of my detailed edit work?
I know I have this option at the beginning in the wizard.

 

When I look at glass types and right click for properties, on the left side
of the screen, it is not descriptive at all. I just see some numbers for the
various properties.
