Another insulation question while we are on the subject - how have people
taken into account the loss in insulation from roof drain locations when
calculating the average insulation level of a rigid roofs? Is there an
established protocol, paper, or anything to reference on this topic?

blowing agent do not change in r-value due to outgassing; some argue that
hermetically sealed insulations (encased in metal in one example) cannot
outgas and retain their initial high R-value, but a perfect seal or delayed

Does thermal conductivity of polyisocyanurate roof insulation change
over time?
Will the R-value decrease over time? There seems to be conflicting
information about this.
