[bldg-sim] Multi-level zoning in eQuest

Kendra,

As others have suggested, you can use a unique shell in the design
development wizard and define custom zone shapes for each shell, but you
need to be careful as the current version of eQuest does not do vertical
clipping of horizontal surfaces to determine the horizontal surfaces
(floors and roofs) that are exposed to outside conditions and those that
are in contact with an adjacent space in the adjacent shell. This is a
significant concern if your floor plates are different shapes and
orientations.

I believe the eQuest development team is currently trying to correct
this issue.

Subject: [bldg-sim] Multi-level zoning in eQuest

Does anyone know if it's possible to create different zoning patterns
per floor in the Design Wizard in eQuest? Manually, it can be done in
Detailed Data Edit mode, but I know I did it once before in the wizard.

Thanks,
