[bldg-sim] Batt Insulation Derating

Hi all,

Does anyone know of any good values/research to use for derating the R-value
of batt insulation in a (residential) wall stud cavity as it settles over
time?  I've heard recently that an R-19 can often perform around R-13, and
would like to find a second source.
