Job opportunity for an Energy Engineer 

in AEC’s Boulder, San Francisco, and Nashville offices

 

Architectural Energy Corporation (AEC) is currently seeking experienced
energy engineers to join the Energy Analysis Group in the Sustainable
Design Assistance Team at the company’s offices in Boulder, Colorado,
San Francisco, CA, and Nashville, TN.  Candidates must demonstrate
strong proficiency in building energy analysis, familiarity with
state-of-the-art energy-efficiency and renewable energy technologies,
and knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and controls. The position
involves working with architectural design teams from around the country
to develop whole-building energy- and environmentally-responsive schemes
and systems for a wide range of new construction projects. Excellent
communication and teamwork skills are required. Familiarity with the
architectural design process and LEED certification procedures are
preferred.  Required: 5 -15 years building energy analysis experience,
expertise in DOE-2 / eQUEST /Visual-DOE, and proficiency with other
computer simulation programs (TRNSYS, Energy Plus, IES-VE, TAS, etc.).
Recommended: commercial / industrial HVAC design experience, PE
