Mike:

The only difference I know of is that the program accounts for sun
angles in different locale. That would change your heating and cooling
load no doubt.

Subject: [BLDG-SIM] Question about eQuest weather data.

Hey everyone,
My question is regarding the way in which eQuest uses weather data. I've
noticed that the bin files are taken from the doe2 site, and for many
smaller locations they use a near by site's bin calcs. However, when
comparing those two locations (in my case Lewiston & Grangeville,
Idaho), they come up with different heating loads. Is there a local
adjustment factors built into the way eQuest uses local weather data?
Thanks for the help.
