[BLDG-SIM] SHGC ofstain glass

WINDOW program has comprehensive database of glasses, and in its newest
version 6.1, it also includes glasses that are partially or fully diffuse,
however, I am not sure if there are any stained glass entries.

BTW. there is no SHGC or U-factor data for single layers. Instead, there is
conductivity of glass, surface emissivities (e_f and e_b), Transmittance
(Tau), and front and back reflectance (Rho_f and Rho_b). Tau, Rho_b, and
Rho_f are given for each wavelength band from and inclusive of UV to near IR
(NIR). This data is obtained by measurements in a spectrophotometer with an
integrated sphere. For diffusing layers, it is desirable if these data is
also given for each incidence angle in the form of a matrix of incidence and
outgoing directions (i.e., Bi-Directional Transmittance and Reflectance
Distribution Functions or BTDF and BRDF). Bi-Directional measurements are
more complex because of the need to measure individual outgoing directions,
subject to individual incident directions. With these basic data, WINDOW
program calculates U-factor and SHGC for a glazing system that may consist
of single or multiple layers. So U-factor and SHGC is pertinent to glazing
system, as exposed to outdoor and indoor boundary conditions, not single
isolated layers.

Subject: [BLDG-SIM] SHGC ofstain glass

Hi all,

Does anyone has any idea where can I get shgc or thermal properties of
stain glass? Any answer to the question will be very much appreciated.
