[Bldg-sim] Modeling Dynamic Window Blinds in DOE2

I would like to know if anyone has modeled window-blinds or shades using
DOE2's WINDOW-LAYERS method in which a window-blind can be specified as
a layer in a window. Above that, a BLIND-SCHEDULE or a SLAT-SCHEDULE can
be specified and a trigger for ROOM-TEMPERATURE or SOLAR-INTENSITY can
be set to operate the blinds.

I would like to know about the capabilities and limitations of this
method in DOE2. Also could someone speak about the key differences
between DOE2's and Energy Plus's blinds model?

Thanks in advance!
