[BLDG-SIM] eQuest Building Creation Inquiry

Elliot:

Simple as pie.

The Design Development Wizard (DD Wizard) allows one to draw different
shell (floors, if you will) shapes, which can be either separate
buildings or separate floors. You can also import AutoCAD .DWG files to
trace each floor from.

I believe eQuest Tutorial Item Tab 3 (Example: 7th and Lane) outlines a
bit of how to approach the DD Wizard route.

Any building I have now usually starts in the Schematic design Wizard,
then goes to the DD Wizard to traces the floors and/or multiple
buildings. Once I have the building "cookie cuttered" out, I dive
straight to the Detailed Interface to finalize my inputs.

You'll get the hang of it.

Subject: [BLDG-SIM] eQuest Building Creation Inquiry

All,

I am looking to model a building in eQuest where not all floors have the
same footprint. How can this be achieved? The tutorial doesn't detail
this.

Thanks,

Elliott Pallett
