[BLDG-SIM] EQuest Exterior Lighting

I'm working with eQuest to model a single story office building in Miami,
FL. This is for LEED certification. I'm having difficulty entering
information regarding exterior lighting loads into the model. I'm new to
DOE2 and the eQuest front-end, so I do most of my work through the wizards
and input screens (haven't edited any text files yet -- I'm sure I'll get
there one day).

Can anyone shed light on:

*Screen 23 of 25, Exterior Lighting Loads and Profiles under the DD shell
wizard, allows the user to input a W/ft^2 for "Exterior Lighting Load".
Question: what square footage are they referencing? I can't find an
explanation anywhere in the documentation. Are they talking about total
vertical plane surface area (i.e. building exterior)?

*Assuming the above number is referencing building surface area (minus roof,
I presume), is there an ideal way to enter the total parking lot watts? I
could always add it to the above number, I guess, if I knew where DOE2 was
going for the square footage.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
