FYI.
There is a 1985 ASHRAE Transactions paper that documents our attempt to do at the Rec Center at the Univ of Colo using DOE-2, which was calibrated to measurements. There is a pool simulation as well.

Subject: [BLDG-SIM] Ice Rinks in DOE2
All-
Has anyone modeled an Ice Rink in DOE2? Most of the keywords seem to work, however the "CEILING-EMISS" and the "RINK-EMISS" do not change anything. This is troubling since the emissivity of the ice and especially the ceiling should have an effect on the radiant heat exchange between the two. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks-
