[BLDG-SIM] Window arrays in eQUEST

Sir:

If you start your building in the Design Development (DD) Wizard, you
can input your unique floor by floor building footprint, then define up
to three window types (could be same glass and different window
dimensions). Each "building shell component" (read: floor) can have its
own unique windows, pct.in each facing direction, etc. I don't think you
can have different window dimensions on a particular floor/facing
directions using either the Schematic or DD Wizard.

But I believe you could have, say, store front 8 x 10 glass on Floor 1
facing south, and different glass and dimensions in EACH other facing
direction. Floor 2 can be entirely different.

You can play with the window dimension as well to achieve, say 5 windows
in a facing direction vs. 8 windows (if you need to achieve some
symmetry).

Otherwise, Custom Window Placement gets the job done, abet slowly.

Subject: [BLDG-SIM] Window arrays in eQUEST

Hello

I was wondering if there is a quick and easy way to input an array of
windows using eQUEST. Using the custom window placement, or using a
copy and paste method in the .bdl file works but both methods are
cumbersome. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
