Any experience with Energy Pro for LEED modeling (project in
California)?

EQuest is okay for this, the Carrier HAP ( hourly analysis program) and
Trane Trace 700 would also suffice. In my opinion the Carrier HAP
required input data forms are some what simpler than the Tran Trace,
however the Trane Trace has more system templates and associated system
graphics associated with each template, so you can just about model
anything ( ice storage, cogen, vav with reheat, vav with perimeter
radiation, etc, etc,) I prefer the Trane Trace for high rise commercial
buildings and the Carrier HAP for smaller 4 to 5 Multi family type
buildings. Just my preference for what it is worh

I am wondering if any can provide me with some insight on LEED Energy
Modeling to obtain EAc1 with LEED NC2.2. I am specifically attempting to
determine which program I will use to model baseline vs. design. I am
proficient in EnergyPro, however it seems many people prefer to use
eQuest. I have also heard some good things about the HAP program from
Carrier. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Our typical project types consist of new 4 or 5 story multi-family
apartments. It should also be noted that almost all of our work is
within California.
Thanks.
