Well, I found it. It's the fluid cooler pump.

Thanks,

I should also be clear that I'm modeling the same building with a GSHP
system using the same system type but a different CDW loop and am not
experiencing the same problem.

That was my first thought but I don't see crank case heater defined
anywhere in the HVAC systems tab. Where is this defined? I even looked
in the BDL file and the HP system doesn't even have the CRANKCASE-HEAT
keyword, where another system in the same project (TYPE = PSZ) does.

Crankcase heater?

Hi all,

I am modeling a water source heat pump system and can't seem to find out
where this excess miscellaneous/auxillary energy is coming from. I have
determined that it is definitely coming from the heat pump system in
question. When I look at the PS-C report and compare the energy of the
two pumps assigned to the system with the total energy listed on the
electric meter that I have the system assigned to, the total on the meter
is almost twice as large as the combined pump energy.

I can't for the life of me figure out what else in the SYSTEM = HP type
system could be contributing to the pumps/aux category. Has anyone else
noticed this? Am I missing something?
