Hi -
I modeled daylighting in perimeter zones, the settings are:
Zone depth: 30'
3 rows of lights: 5', 15' and 25' from window
Top of the window 10' from the floor
Strip window 40% of total wall area
Daylighting control: dimming to 10%, continous off
2 sensors, one located 7.5' from window, control the first row (33% lights)
the other one located 17.5' from window, control the second row (33% lights)
max glare 22
Other settings are all default.
The results shows that the lighting energy reduction for the perimeter zones is
about 50%. I feel this is a little bit high, which equals to the ist row off
all the time and the second row off 50% of the time.
Do you think the result is resonable?
By the way, only one window is modeled for each zone, so the window is very
long, but I didn't get warnings.
Thanks in advance!
Yu
