In-floor heating system could be modeled as a 4-pipe fan coil system that
requires no fan energy, see Page 6-8 of the modeling guide.

 

Then model the plant as "Combination Ground Source Heat Pump/Boiler Plants",
see page 4-17 of the modeling guide.

I am using EE4 to do energy simulations, as required her for energy grant
submissions.  It appears to be basically the same tool as EnergyPro4, with
each product adapted to local conditions. Does anyone have experience (they
wish to share) with modeling Ground Source Heat Pump systems with in-floor
heating and 4-pipe fan coil units for air distribution? The EE4 simulation
manuals leave MUCH to be desired, and the warnings/errors etc. from EE4 are
not very useful much of the time. Any help is greatly appreciated.
