[Bldg-sim] Energy Engineer job opportunity

Sustainable Engineering Group (SEG) is seeking an experienced Energy
Engineer in the Madison, WI location.  Candidate must have relevant work
experience in improving energy performance (e.g. HVAC, sustainable design,
and geothermal) in commercial buildings. 

Key responsibilities include: 

1.	Work with architects, engineers, contractors and stakeholders to
provide energy efficiency and sustainable design services to the commercial
building sector by identifying opportunities for energy savings and demand
reduction; 
2.	Perform energy simulations using tools such as DOE2 (eQuest, Visual
DOE, etc), Trane Trace, TRNSYS etc; 
3.	Perform on-site energy audits and installation reviews; and 
4.	Evaluate energy conservation measures and assist in the
implementation of energy conservation measures that involve HVAC equipment
such as pumps, fans, boilers, chillers, solar collectors, the control and
integration of such equipment, as well as lighting and the building
envelope. 

Requirements/Qualifications

*	A minimum of a Mechanical Engineering bachelor degree (or
equivalent) required, a graduate degree is preferred. 
*	A minimum of five years of relevant energy engineering/HVAC
experience. 
*	PE and/or CEM certification is preferred. 
*	Good technical writing and excellent communication skills. 
*	Highly motivated to learn more about sustainable practices and is
passionate about sustainability and energy efficiency.   
*	Some travel required.
