[Bldg-sim] Does SEER 16 evaporator requires larger space than SEER14

[hussein abaza]

I am trying to specify SEER 16 instead of SEER14 for apartment buildings,
and I heard from several mechanical engineers that this is impossible
without increasing the mechanical room size inside the apartments  (for the
fan coil). Does anyone have any idea about this

Any suggestions on how to model a building that will have variable
refrigerant volume (VRV/VRF) HVAC system type and ventilated double skin
façade. Trane Trace 700 and EnergyPro can model VRV.
DesignBuilder/EnergyPlus, ESP-r, IDA-ICE, TRNSYS, IES<VE> and others can
model ventilated double skin façade.
