[Bldg-sim] District energy system

Does anyone have an experience on modeling a small district heating
system where:

1. Proposed building buys chilled/hot water from a small district
network

2. Chilled/hot water is provided to the district network by
central ground water heating pumps

Our concern refer to the baseline building - We intend the baseline made
as:

1. Step 1 (under the 'Required treatment of District thermal
energy in LEED-NC version 2.2') - we consider constant volume FCU's
buying only chilled/hot water

2. Step 2 - constant volume FCU's feed by fossil fuel boiler and
packaged terminal air conditioner. We have a doubt on the fuel type to
be used for our boiler as the DES uses ground water heat pumps
electrically driven.

I would appreciate any feedback on this matter.

Mattia
