Try binding all the related xrefs to the main CAD file that you are
importing into eQUEST. Save the CAD file to the 2004 version and import it
again. This should fix the problem.

Subject: [Bldg-sim] eQuest - importing .dwg problem

Hello - I'm attempting to import a .dwg file (made in Autocad, and saved to
the 2000 version) and, though the various layers that I want are checked
while in Autocad, only 4 layers are showing up when it arrives in equest.
These layers are windows and doors, but no walls. So it's not very useful
with just a scattering of disconnected lines. I've tried several
variations and keep ending up with the same 4 layers, and nothing else. Has
anyone encountered this before? (I have successfully imported .dwg on other
projects).

Thanks

v.
