[Bldg-sim] Required Treatment of District Thermal Energy for LEED 3.0

As far as I know "District Thermal Energy" is to be treated the same in NC 3.0. I have had limited contact with the few NC 3.0 projects in the works that are pursuing this path, and they haven't had any guidance to do anything different.

Gotta love the new secret LEED CIR process that doesn't let you know what's right or wrong so we can spend lots of our clients money pursuing paths that may not pay off.

Subject: [Bldg-sim] Required Treatment of District Thermal Energy for LEED 3.0

Hi All

I am working on an upgrade to a building that uses district energy and is pursuing certification under LEED NC 3.0.

I am aware of the document "Required Treatment of District Thermal Energy in LEED-NC version 2.2 and LEED for Schools" from May '08 (http://www.usgbc.org/ShowFile.aspx?DocumentID=4176)

Does anyone know if this document is applicable for projects registered in LEED NC 3.0, or if there have been any updates/changes to it?

Thank you all
