[Bldg-sim] energy modeling for LEED - additions to existing building

Hello All,

I am trying to model an addition to an existing building. The addition has
a  separate air handling units but is served by the boiler and chiller
plants of the existing portions of the building. I have understood that I
would have to model the whole building including the existing portions
according to Appendix G. But, while comparing the energy savings, would I
have to include energy consumption of the existing portions or just the
addition?
