Anyone can organize an IBPSA affiliate-what you need to do is simple:

1.       Have an organizing meeting

2.       Select officers

3.       Establish the organization (objectives, goals, any legal requirements)

4.       Make a proposal to IBPSA Board (more information required but similar).

I agree. Here in Portugal there are a large number of people who are working in simulation, and IBPSA here in Portugal would be very helpful, helping to develop simulation.

Here in Portugal we are still waiting for IBPSA. I think Victor Leal, the person that you have indicated for the in charge for the IBPSA Portugal are in other planning.

For how long to include Portugal in the way.

Greatings Building Simulationists,

The International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA) board recently voted unanimously to approve a new affiliate - IBPSA-Italy.  This brings IBPSA to 22 affiliates worldwide:  http://www.ibpsa.org/

IBPSA is actively recruiting new affiliates.  If you know of other countries or regions that might be interested in forming IBPSA affiliates, please let us know.
