Dear All,

In one of the project, the toilets, pantry is indirectly conditioned through transfer of air from adjacent air conditioned open office area. The Baseline case is packaged single zone system. As per ASHRAE 90.1, toilet and pantry has to be considered air conditioned since it is indirectly conditioned. My question is, do we have to assign packaged single zone system separately for each indirectly conditioned Zone also. i.e. one system for toilet, one system for pantry. Can we assign one packaged single zone for office areas, pantry, toilet and stairs together?.

Also, how to tackle unmet hours in indirectly conditioned spaces?

In general, how to model indirectly conditioned spaces where baseline case is packaged single zone system.

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Regards,
Rathnashree
