[Bldg-sim] document management

I wonder if anybody has found a useful system to manage very large amount 
of building energy simulations? What I am looking for is a system for 
document management (versions and alternatives), quality assurance and 
documentation of input and result. It would be very useful if I could 
combine a number of files and folders into projects by tags or some other 
method.
