Whole Building Systems, LLC, a Charleston, SC based high-performance
building consultancy, has openings for mechanical, electrical and plumbing
engineers with 4-6 years experience.  We are looking for individuals who
will grow with the firm.  The right candidates will be motivated, have an
ingrained work ethic that seeks responsibility and have a passion for
learning and continuous improvement. Applicants must be technically
competent, inquisitive and willing to go the extra step.  Candidates must
also be professional, personable and able to express themselves clearly --
orally and in writing.  A writing sample will be required and candidates
should expect several rounds of interviews.



*Requirements: Technical*

·         BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

·         Minimum 4 years experience designing HVAC, plumbing and fire
protection systems (for electrical: power, lighting, daylighting,
communications,
fire alarm and security systems, re-emergence power generation and
renewable energy systems) in commercial and institutional occupancies or
projects.

·         Proficient in the use of Revit, AutoCAD, Trane Trace, Energy
Plus, Open Studio, Radiance, Microsoft Word and Excel.

·         Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) including
templates, families, data extraction, data transfer and data validation.

·         Knowledge of energy auditing, energy modeling and building
systems simulation, systems design, commissioning processes, construction
specifications and construction contract administration practices a plus.
