Hello Christopher,
I’ve done the MPE design work for 26 fire stations in Texas over the past 6 years. In none of these is there any requirement for hot water serving the apparatus bay. Fire engine washing is only done with cold water (a 2-inch line for both washing and tank filling.) The only qualification is that all of these were in Texas. Requirements may be different elsewhere.
