[Bldg-sim] Which month is the peak month for loads

Since we are working in a virtual world and not all buildings react the same way the
most straightforward approach is to run virtual epxeriments and look for periods during the
year when the building or its occupants are most-stressed.

Might not be on the hottest day or the coldest day. More likely it will be during a week
with a sequence of weather and internal usage patterns for the specific building
coincide with greatest discomfort or exceptional demands for environmental controls.

Weather data gives an initial clue, and better to confirm that this is actually the case.

You should check .ddy file that comes with .epw weather files. It has all the data that you are looking for. Hope this helps!

Dear all,

I have a query , since i m doing simulations , i want to know which month is the peak month in terms of load for hot and cold climate regions.

The weather data which we uses , what extract does the simulation tool takes from that weather data , except the relative humidity , Latitude and all.

It would be very helpful to me if all experts can reply and make me understand all these points.

Thanks in advance.
