[EnergyPlus_Support] Linux install?

I'm not clear on how one installs EnergyPlus on Linux.  1.0.1 release
notes show Linux as being supported.  The FAQ sort of led me to
believe that the email giving my "user license" password would
instruct on how to install on Linux, but when it arrived, it did not.
 The .exe for download will not do me any good on Linux, I am
supposing.  Can anyone offer some help?
