[EnergyPlus_Support] ZONE SUPPLY AIR PATH & ZONE RETURN AIR PATH

Hi all
 
I am trying to simulate a 1-Zone system. Can I skip zone splitter and
zone mixer in "ZONE SUPPLY AIR PATH" and "ZONE RETURN AIR PATH"? They
are the third component in both classes. Actually my system doesn't
require zone splitter of zone mixer as I have only one zone. 
 
Can anyone share an example of 1-zone system or tell me of an example
file in the EnergyPlus's ExampleFiles directory?
