RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] DesignDays for Phoenix, AZ

I have found DESIGNDAY examples for Phoenix in one of the example files
(SolarShadingTest.idf). They are as follows:

DesignDay,
   PHOENIXWINWSUN,  !- DesignDayName
   1.111111,  !- Maximum Dry-Bulb Temperature {C}
   0.0,       !- Daily Temperature Range {C}
   1.111111,  !- Wet-Bulb Temperature At MaxTemp {C}
   97789.59,  !- Barometric Pressure {Pa}
   2.059940,  !- Wind Speed {m/s}
   90.1,      !- Wind Direction {deg}
   1.0,       !- Sky Clearness
   0,         !- Rain Indicator
   0,         !- Snow Indicator
   21,        !- Day Of Month
   1,         !- Month
   Monday,    !- Day Type
   0; !- Daylight Saving Time Indicator

DesignDay,
   PHOENIX ARIZONA SUMMER,  !- DesignDayName
   41.66667,  !- Maximum Dry-Bulb Temperature {C}
   16.11111,  !- Daily Temperature Range {C}
   21.66667,  !- Wet-Bulb Temperature At MaxTemp {C}
   97266.52,  !- Barometric Pressure {Pa}
   3.743960,  !- Wind Speed {m/s}
   270.0,     !- Wind Direction {deg}
   1.050000,  !- Sky Clearness
   0,         !- Rain Indicator
   0,         !- Snow Indicator
   21,        !- Day Of Month
   7,         !- Month
   Monday,    !- Day Type
   0; !- Daylight Saving Time Indicator

QUESTION:
1. If I use "PHOENIXWINWSUN" for 'Winter DesignDay' Will that be OK?
2. Two fields "Maximum Dry-Bulb Temperature{c}' and 'Wet-Bulb Temp At
Max Temp' are same. Will that be OK for a yearly [simdays=365]
simulation?

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] DesignDays for Phoenix, AZ

Hello

Is it possible to get DesignDay spec for Phoenix, Arizona? I am using
'USA_AZ_Phoenix_TMY2' weather file and following spec for Location
(Which I have extracted from .epw file):

LOCATION ,
   Phoenix,   !- LocationName
   33.43,     !- Latitude {deg}
   -112.02,   !- Longitude {deg}
   -7,        !- TimeZone {hr (decimal)}
   339;       !- Elevation {m}

1. Can anyone help me with specifying two design days (Winter and
Summer)?
2. Is it possible to extract DesignDay information from .epw files?

Regards

Monjur
