The Rev2 of the California Climate Zones
were derived from the earlier TMY data
and modified to be more representative of
the climate zones.  But yes, it was originally
derived from a TMY2-type selection of typical
months from a 30+- year period of record,

How was the CA Climate Zone weather data obtained? Is
it based on the same method as TMY2?
