RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Ceiling Fan

A celing fan can do three things:

1. Consume electricity and add that energy as an internal gain.
This, as Brent already suggested, can be done with Electric Equipment.

2. Stir the air in the zone to eliminate thermal stratification.
All thermal zones in EnergyPlus are assumed to be at a uniform air
temperature. This is often called the "well-mixed" or "well-stirred"
assumption. So, all zones have an implied ceiling fan which consumes
no power.

3. Increase the air velocity on the occupants, causing them to feel
cooler. If you are using the thermal comfort reports, you can model
this impact by adjusting the Air Velocity Schedule in the PEOPLE
object.
