[EnergyPlus_Support] About the transfer surface

Now I have a question about the  transfer surface. I have a building 
model as follow,I set the central area as a zone, and the perimeter 
as a zone. My question is how do I set the roof and ground of the 
perimeter zone? Now only 4 or 3 sides are allowed, but there needs  
8 vertices to describe the ground and the roof of the perimeter 
zone. How can I deal with this problem?
