[EnergyPlus_Support] Heating load
Hi,
All I am really trying to do for now, is to get some figures for
Heating Load.
I created a model in Ecotect, then saved it as idf, and modifed a few
bits and pieces to get it accepted by EPlus. Because I specifically
want results for Zone/Sys Sensible Heating Rate, I modified my model
to follow the purchair.idf model in ex files, added the various
Heating Setpoints etc. However, i keep getting '0' for my Sensible
Heating Rate when I run the simulation...
The error file comes back with quite a few errors, although Eplus
seems to run successfully (but does it?).
some severe errors are about:
"Base surface does not surround subsurface (CHKSBS)
Surface "OBJ:0001" misses SubSurface "SUBOBJ:0038"
I searched the Eplus yahoo forum archive but can't find anything on
that.
I also got the following error:
"Invalid Data Found on Weather Data File"
But I do get some results if I run the purchair.idf with my weather
file...
So where do I go wrong?
I've uploaded my model1.idf, the weather file I am using in the
dedicated folder on this forum.
Hope you can find the obvious problem.
Thanks,
Anne-Sophie
