[EnergyPlus_Support] question about motor heat of the fan

As I read from the inputoutput reference, Motor in Air Stream
Fraction in the Fan:Simple:Onoff means the fraction of the motor heat
that is added to the air stream. I input a zero for this entry, but I
found that the enthalpy of the air going into and coming from the fan
is still different. Can anyone explain this to me?

Thanks!
