Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Measurement x simulation
It will take some digging to determine what is different about the simulation
description from the actual experiment. All I can do is to offer some
suggestions of things that you may have already looked at. Turn on report
variables to see where the moisture is coming from and where it is going; try
some sensitivities (remove people, remove lights, etc.); compare between cases.
Remember that EnergyPlus repeats the first day of each environment to "warm
up" the simulation and achieve a periodic steady state. If the experimental
data is for a short period of time, perhaps that may be part of the cause of
differences. Start with on of the cases that does agree well with the
experimental data and add one change at a time to determine what causes the
biggest change in humidity results, then focus on that aspect to determine if
it agrees well with the experimental conditions.
