[EnergyPlus_Support] E+1.2.3 Fedora core 4 installation

Hello,
I'm installing as root, at the command ./install.sh ( point 4 of the 
Linux Installation Instruction) I get the message " CANNOT EXECUTE : 
PERMISSION DENIED ".  I'm new to Linux and that's probably most of the 
problem. Thanks for reading this and for any help you could provide me.
