[EnergyPlus_Support] autosize calculations

Hello,

I am using an Unitary System:Heatpump:Air to air with autosize in my 
runs. Where in the documentation could I find calculations or an 
explanation as to how the system/components are sized? I can see the 
results in the EIO file but I fail to understand how they were 
obtained when I compare the coils' rated total cooling or heating 
capacity with the total cooling or heating rate listed in the output 
report.

Thanks for any clarification on the subject.
