[EnergyPlus_Support] zoning
Dear Linda,
I have a few questions.
The building which i am modelling is of 7-storey, each contain 2 Air Handlers.
Each air handler takes care of several rooms(approximately 30 rooms which are equipped with 14 Air Terminal Units). There are some rooms which got Air terminal unit(Single duct VAV-Reheat)individually, whereas some bunch of rooms(approximately 4 rooms) have one Air Terminal unit. The set point temperature in all the rooms is same(72F).
I hope i am succesfull in describing the building breifly. Now my question is
How can i divide those rooms into zones? As far as i understood from reading documentation, since there are 14 terminal units(single duct VAV Reheat. There has to be 14 zones per each Air Handler.
Am I correct?
But since all rooms have a same set point temperature of 72F, can i consider all rooms related one air handler as ONE SINGLE ZONE? Please explain.
Thanks
