[EnergyPlus_Support] opening area COMIS

hi,

How does COMIS calculate the opening area through the given parameters
in "COMIS: air flow opening".
Is there a formula in one of the manuals? (i want the area in m²)

It is for a LVO type 2 (with a horizontal pivoting axis at the top of
the window)
Or is there a book wich describes the right way for calculating the
area? (reference for COMIS?)
