[EnergyPlus_Support] defining surfaces

Hi all,

in the attached image i try to explain my question,
this is an example of a more complex structure...but I think it's better to start in a easier way.

This is a framework structure: pillars and beams made of reinforced concrete.
It's filled with brick.

The question is: Have I define every single different surface like the colours in the image below?(I coloured only on side of the cube)
And also, if I define as a surface, for example, one side of a pillar, this surface corrresponds to a construction element with particular thickness ..ok...but when I define another side of the pillar this corrisponds to the same surface as before with the same thickness and it places upon the construction element defined before because there's a 90 degree angle between the two sides of the pillar...

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Ugo Mazzali
