[EnergyPlus_Support] heat recovery by IC generator

We are simulating a building with a boiler and a IC engine generator, 
with the same scheme of the example "HeatRecoverywithStorageTank.idf". 
The difference are:
- only one generator (the above IC);
- the presence of a boiler after the water heater: the bypass bypasses 
the boiler and no more the water heater;
- a baseboard heating system.
The file run succesfully, but we very bad results:
- no recovered heat by the IC engine;
- source branch of the water heater with no water flow (all the flow 
is in the bypass pipe);
- the inlet node of the IC engine branch has a very high temperature 
just from the first step of the simulation (more than 100 °C).

May anyone help me, please?
