[EnergyPlus_Support] AirFlowNetwork simulation and Attached Shading
Hello anyone,
I think that there is a problem with the new AirFlowNetwork, when
used in association with Surface:Shading:Attached.
I have set up a single room with attached shading (external fins),
which works fine with the simple infiltration model. Changing to the
AIRFLOWNETWORK SIMULATION model, it fails with the message:
** Severe ** GetAirflowNetworkInput:
AirflowNetwork:Multizone:Surface object, Surface=GF SURF5-1-NOSHADE
** ~~~ ** ..Zone for outside surface must be defined in a
AirflowNetwork:MultiZone:Zone object. Could not find Zone=GF
Deleting the attached shading and using AIRFLOWNETWORK SIMULATION
model works fine. So it seems to be the comination of the
AIRFLOWNETWORK SIMULATION model and attached shading that is the
problem.
Many thanks
Tony Baxter
