[EnergyPlus_Support] No Design Heating Load
I am running a simulation where I have a compact vav system with hot
water reheat. I keep getting errors saying that I have no heating
load for my interior zones, which makes me think that the outside air
controls that I have on the system are not set up right. I have set
up outside air flow/person on the zone level for all zones in the
building. I was under the impression that the program uses these
flows and max occupancy rates to determine the minimum outside
airflow for each zone. Is this true?
The exterior zones are not returing this error (Zone 1S is an example
shown below), only the interior ones are (Zone 1SCore is an example
shown below). Anyone see a reason why I am getting zero heating load
when I assume that the outside air flow/person is passed to the
system level in the sizing routine?
Also, on the eio output, it says that the calc des air flow rate for
these zones is zero, while the user des air flow rates are identical
to the ones I entered.
Thanks,
Andrew
