The "routine" in the Duffie/Beckman textbook is an iterative use of Erb's Id/I formula vs Kt. This will synthesize beam and diffuse given global horizontal. There are several MS and PhD thesis on its use at the ESL, as well as software for packing a TRY weather file.

Thanks so much. But I found if I want to use the approaches in those
books, I must first be an expert on it...
Beckman 's works gives a simple estimation, while it is only a value
monthly averaged.
Is there any plan on it for generic E+ users to simply use the
measure data and take a quick input straightforward?
I thought I read some literature about E+ validation, written by
Mike.
Hopefully someone having these experience gives me a light.
