[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: infiltration and natural ventilation



ASHRAE has guidance on volume flow rates required for fresh air per
person. It normally comes out somewhere between 6 - 9 l/s per person.
It depends what you mean by contaminant dilution. They do have higher
rates for areas where smoking is allowed as well to allow for adequate
air quality.

If it is unconditioned and you want to allow for the effects of
natural ventilation I suggest doing a calculated natural ventilation
model to check what sort of air changes you get by opening windows etc.
